OOOOOOOOK i'm in a very delighted state at present as i just found out...........................................ready....... From over 6000 international design entries (still counting) , ECCENTRIC O HAS BEEN SHORTLISTED IN THE TOP 50 FOR UNIQLO'S UT GRAND PRIX 2011! :D http://ut.uniqlo.com/utgp/?sort=color SPREADING POSITIVE VIBES HAVE BEGUN! Top 20 designs will be announced in 2011 Spring. The Top 20 finalist will have their designs sold world wide in all Uniqlo stores. Fingers crossed this is only the beginning!! And to think I nearly went cinema as oppose to staying home and developing my concept.:

Peace Begins With A Smile” (Mother Teresa) is one of my favourite quotes of all
time! I thought this would be an ideal opportunity to incorporate the quote as it coincides perfectly with the theme, seeing as Mickey Mouse’s characteristics are of a
loving nature and is always associated with a smile. I hand drew the typography in the form of Mickey’s face shape to emphasise the relationship between the quote and
Mickey’s iconic facial expression. I chose to draw retro like typography and used bold colours to reflect visual aspects of that used in the hippie era in order to aid the communication of the message. I also wanted to fuse a sense of playfulness with the design on Mickey’s part, by having him paint on the design himself adding to the power of this message.
